China and Singapore deepen cooperation to promote the application of ship electronic certificates

Cao Desheng, director of the Maritime Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, introduced at the China-Singapore Maritime Senior Officials Meeting held that day that ship certificates are key documents in shipping customs clearance operations. The implementation of electronic certificates can increase the speed of customs clearance at shipping ports, reduce the burden on shipping companies and ships, and is effective. Cao Desheng said that the cooperation between China and Singapore in the field of ship electronic certificates is a demonstration project to promote the construction of the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" and implement the strategic interconnection between China and Singapore.
